Family run since 1946 · Machining · Fabrication · 3D printing

Whatever the part is, we can make it.

We machine, fabricate, weld and 3D print to order - in aluminium, steel, brass or plastic, from a finished drawing or a sketch on the back of an envelope. One part or one thousand, with no minimum order and no account to open.

So you only need the one? That's fine by us.

Minimum order  -  qty 1
  • No account needed
  • No minimum spend
  • A price within a day
  • Sketches welcome
  • Made in our own Stoke-on-Trent workshop

Tell us about your part

Drawings, STEP, STL, IGES, or a photo with a ruler next to it - whatever you've got. Someone here will read it and come back to you with a price and a lead time.

Or email us at info@custommanufacturedparts.co.uk.

What we make

One part, one batch, or one thousand

It all happens under one roof, so a job that needs turning, welding and a printed jig doesn't get passed between three different suppliers - or three different quotes.

CNC milling

3- and 5-axis work in aluminium, steel, stainless, brass and engineering plastics. Housings, manifolds, brackets, plates. More on machining.

CNC turning

Shafts, spacers, bushes, spindles and adaptors - including the cross-drilling and flats, without a second setup. More on machining.

Sheet & fabrication

Laser profiling, folding, rolling and finishing for small fabricated parts - housings, mounts, brackets, connectors and covers.

Welding

TIG and MIG in steel, stainless and aluminium - joining the brackets, mounts and housings we make into one finished part.

3D printing

FDM, SLA and SLS. Worth printing one first to check the fit before you commit to metal - we'd always recommend it. More on printing.

Obsolete parts

Send us the broken original. We'll measure it, draw it, make it - and keep the model on file so the next one is easy.

A note from the workshop

Why we bother with the small jobs

We are a family business, and we have been since 1946. The workshop has grown a fair bit in that time - there are machines in here now the first generation would not recognise - but it is still the same family running it, and every part still leaves from the same floor.

Most of our work goes out on a pallet, to customers with purchase orders and delivery schedules. But the jobs people here still talk about are the other ones - the gear selector off a Triumph, the bracket someone has been hunting for two years, the part that only exists now as a photograph.

They're more interesting, they keep our hand in, and they're a good part of why many of us took this job in the first place. So if you've got one part and you're worried it's too small to bother us with - it isn't. Please do ask.

Capabilities

The numbers, if you want them

And if none of this means anything to you, ignore it entirely and just tell us what the part has to do.

Talk to us

Describe it badly. We'll work it out.

You don't need a drawing, a company name or the right words for it. Tell us what the part does and what went wrong with the old one - that's usually plenty to get started.

  1. First Send us what you've got. A CAD file, a sketch, a photo with a rule beside it, or the part itself.
  2. Then We'll come back with a price. Usually within a day, from a real person.
  3. Finally We make it. Then post it out, or you collect it from the workshop.
